The Board of Directors (BODs) of SDF reviews the progress and achievements of the major training projects.

After the BODs meeting on the morning of July 26th, 2024, in the afternoon of the same day, H.E. Dr. Phan Phalla, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the SDF, accompanied by members of the BODs from the public and private sector, as well as colleagues, inspected the progress and achievements of the completed training projects that are being trained under the SDF co-funding support in Siem Reap, including: 1) EHT Paul Dubrule Vocational School in Hospitality & Tourism (Paul Dubrule), and 2) PACTICS Cambodia Co., Ltd.

During the site visit, the BODs appreciated the quality of products made by Cambodians with specific skills in the PACTICS factory (production and distribution of travel products). On that occasion, the BODs also recommended to the Paul Dubrule School that they focus on the quality of skills training to ensure human capital with knowledge and skills that can help promote Cambodian social and economic growth.

Notably, under the co-funding support of SDF, Paul Dubrule School successfully provided hospitality training to 90 trainees (57 women) with front office and housekeeping skills, food and beverage service, and culinary. Separately, another 90 trainees (49 women) are receiving training in the above three skills.

PACTICS will start a key skills training course on “Coaching Manager Program” for 15 participants (5 women) in September 2024, so that Cambodian leaders can continue the mission of the Netherland founder in manufacturing and distributing luxury travel products, including backpacks, sportswear, face masks, and other accessories of international standard quality (ISO 9001:2015) for export.
